Texas Toast French Toast


  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 4 Slices Martin’s Texas Toast Potato Bread
  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch Of Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Maple Syrup, warmed
  • Powdered Sugar, for serving


  1. Crack eggs into a shallow dish.
  2. Add milk and whisk to combine.
  3. Whisk in vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Melt butter in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat.
  5. Dip Butter Bread slices in egg mixture on both sides until coated, but not completely soaked through.
  6. Fry slices in heated skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Serve warm with butter and maple syrup. Top with powdered sugar, if desired.
